Which one will win?
The night was brisk as the black-footed cat walked through the desert looking for some food to feed to its little kittens. It came around the corner of the sandy dry desert and came upon a bird. It stopped in a bush and waited for the pounce. The bird started to fly and it knew it was its time. It used its powerful hind legs, sharp claws, and large fangs to snatch the bird. After its unsurprising win, it turned around to go home.
The cat heard a silent hiss, he turned around to be face to face with a Gila monster. The Gila monster had horrible eyesight, so he was using his senses to locate his opponent. As soon as the Gila monster realizes that the deadliest cat in the world isn’t a threat, he continues back to his burrow until sunrise. Little does he know that the black-footed cat is following him because the Gila monster has never been seen there before. Just as the Gila monster stopped to decide which way to turn the cat bent his legs and pounced on the monster’s neck, ripped out it’s spinal cord, then raced away. The Gila monster was left spinal cord-less and limp on the cold dirt.
