Fun Fact: Living in the desert the Antelope Squirrel can withstand extreme heat
You’re walking through Northern Thailand along a river trail when you see an Otter Civet. You start to wonder what it would be like if this animal only had a dry desolate environment instead of it’s wet landscape. When suddenly the otter starts to make an aggravated noise. You look over at it and see there is now an Antelope Squirrel taunting it. The antelope squirrel is dancing around the otter. The otter civet eats meat and doesn’t want it’s food to escape it’s clutches. The antelope squirrel ran up a tree to escape it’s predator unfortunately for the squirrel the otter civet is quite the climber. The antelope squirrel runs on to a branch above the river, as it sees the otter approach it realises the only choice is to go for a swim. The antelope squirrel jumps into the river hoping for the best. When it hit the water the squirrel swam as fast as it could, but to the joy of the otter civet it was not a very fast swimmer. The otter civet grabbed onto the antelope squirrel and dragged it underwater for it’s sad demise.
