Chapter 1: Ichneumon
In the deserts of Asia, food is running scarce. Many animal colonies have fled the biome in search of other food sources outside their home. Many animal parents have killed and eaten their young. This situation is the worst in the Gobi desert where one animal struggles to find food. The Ichneumon roams through the sand, it becomes tired and weak. Suddenly it has a great idea, in the distance, he spots a colder climate, the Himalayas. Maybe I'll find some food there thought the ichneumon. It was unnatural for an animal to think to themselves using the English language, but this was no ordinary Ichneumon. This Ichneumon had an usually large brain and was able to speak. The climate was colder than what he was used to. But in order to survive, he needed food desperately, and the only chance he had was to search someplace else. The climate might have been just a few degrees below freezing but it was a risk he was going to have to take. Before the Ichneumon could continue, he stopped by a creek can take a slurp of water. Now that he was all refreshed he began his journey to the Himalayas.
Chapter 2: Yeti
In the cold snowy tip of Everest sits a massive beast. His hands are clenched together, and his fur blows with the wind. He is one with the cold, The Yeti. His big feet help him hike through the thick snow and the narrow cliff sides. Food is not a problem for The Yeti. Occasionally he will eat snow to stay refreshed and steal food from the several camps on Everest. The cold was his happy place, as long as there were people to terrorize, snow to eat, and food to steal, he was happy. He never traveled below 10,000 feet because it would eventually become cold for him. However, if he felt threatened he could go anywhere to protect his land. A group of climbers enters his vicinity, he lays in the snow to camouflage himself, but the climbers seem a little off. One climber takes a big whiff and smells the worst.
“Smells like BO and dead animals,” he says. Suddenly The Yeti jumps up from the snow. He lets out a menacing roar and scares the climbers away. The Yeti has never really taken offense before, but he agreed with the human, he stunk! He decided to head down to the lower part of the mountain, where a peaceful pond lied. In this area were other food sources for other animals who lived in the area could scavenge. He sits in the pond and begins to cleanse himself.
Chapter 3: The Fight
The Ichneumon approaches the base of a mountain. He looks around for anything he can sink his teeth into. He comes across a lovely patch of water. It suddenly drops dramatically in temperature, he begins to shiver. He scurries to the water, once he gets there he looks around for any food source. As he circles the water for food he comes across something in the snow. It is the shape of a giant foot, he grows more worried than he was before. He sticks to the shadows to keep himself out of sight of anything deadly that could be near. In the distance, he spots a single bush, a bush that contains berries. He waits for a minute scouting the area before approaching the bush. That's it, I can eat that, finally, he thinks to himself. After waiting for a minute or two he begins to walk closer to the bush, occasionally looking behind him. Once he reaches the bush as he reaches for a berry the ground vibrates with a massive bang, he hears a loud roar behind him. He turns around and soaring over him is the Yeti with its bigs teeth out and its huge feet planted. He lets out another roar and growls at the Ichneumon. After an intense stare off, the Yeti makes move. He goes for a grab, the Ichneumon lucky dodges the Yetis attack and swiftly runs in the other direction. The Yeti begins to charge after the Ichneumon, but just before the Yeti can reach him, the Ichneumon charges at him as well. When the Yeti doesn't expect it, the Ichneumon jumps onto the yeti and begins scratching and grabbing his arm. The Yeti yells out in pain, he grabs the Ichneumon and throws him to the ground. The Yeti had a strong muscular body, so the pain would not last. By now the adrenaline is pumping through both creatures. The Yeti struggles to find the Ichneumon. He runs in circles, searching the snow, the Ichneumon is nowhere to be found. A blizzard has begun to blind the Yet, he crouches down to clear his eyes.
In the background, Ichneumon creeps up on the crouched Yeti. He charges at the Yeti. The Yeti hears the footsteps moving fastly towards him. As the yeti rapidly turns around the Ichneumon takes a huge leap onto the Yeti. The Ichneumon begins to claw at the Yeti. Aggressively the Yeti tries to pull the Ichneumon off. Once the Ichneumon gets a couple good swipes in, he leaps off and runs away. The Yeti, now furious, begins to charge after the Ichneumon. Now the two are in a high-speed chase in a blizzard. The Yeti roars out of anger, this prompts the Ichneumon to run faster away. The Yeti picks up his speed, his feet dig in the snow, and it makes him easier to run through. The Ichneumon, however, begins to struggle, the snow has become too thick. Th ichneumon slows down and begins to huff, he tries to jump through the thick snow, but his endurance is dwindling. The Yeti picks up his speed. The ichneumon reaches a crevice in the ice caps, he stops to catch his breath. The Ichneumon grows scared as the Yeti reaches him. The Yeti grabs the Ichneumon with both of his hands and picks him up, ready to finish him off. The Yeti holds the Ichneumon above his head. Just before the Yeti can throw him in, The Ichneumon bites his wrist and forces the Yeti to drop him. The Yeti cries out as he backs up to the crevice, the Ichneumon lies in the snow. The Yeti takes one more step back and falls into the crevice. The Ichneumon gets up from the snow and walks to the crevice to see if he had defeated the Yeti. He sees that Yeti grab a hold of the side of the wall on the other side. The Yeti climbs up the crevice with one hand. Once he reaches the top he turns around to take one more look at the Ichneumon. After staring momentarily, the Yeti turns back and runs in the opposite direction into the blizzard. After a huff of relief, the Ichneumon tuns back and runs for the bush. Once he reaches it he grabs a couple berries from the bush and begins to eat them. A rush of joy flows through the ichneumon, for he knows that he has won, and may now feast from victory.
